15. Troubleshooting
The internal digital effect processor has no function.
• If the STEREO AUX RETURN 2 sockets are used (when cables are connected), the internal digital effect pro-
cessor is deactivated.
• The effect processor was deactivated with the foot switch.
• No signal is sent to the internal effect processor. Check the position of the AUX 2 (FX) control of the channel
and the AUX SEND 2 (FX) MASTER control.
• Check the STEREO AUX RETURN 2 (FX) control position..
• MAIN MIX/ALT 3-4 switch is pressed
The signal of the internal digital effect processor or the signal of the STEREO AUX RETURN 2 (FX) input
is audible at the ALT 3-4 outputs, but not at the MAIN OUTPUT outputs.
• MAIN MIX/ALT 3-4 switch is pressed
No signal is output at the LED balancer display.
• No signal source was selected with the SOURCE switches (2-TRACK- , ALT 3-4 -, MAIN MIX switch).
• The signal level is too low.
• Check the SOLO switch position in the channels.
The right LED balancer display does not deflect.
• The PFL LED is lit (see LED balancer display and MONITORIN Section)
• Check the PAN/BAL controls for the channels.
There is no playback at the headphones
• Check the position of the PHONE/CTRL control.
• No or a wrong signal source was selected with the SOURCE switches (2-TRACK- , ALT 3-4 -, MAIN MIX
switch).
• Check the SOLO switch position in the channels.
No signal is output at the AUX SEND sockets 1 and 2.
• Check the AUX 1 and AUX 2 (FX) control in the channels.
• Check the AUX SEND 1 MASTER and the AUX SEND 2 (FX) MASTER.
No playback of the STEREO AUX RETURN 1 and 2 signals.
• Check the STEREO AUX RETURN 1 and 2 controls..
Repairs other than those described above should only be carried out by an authorised spe-
cialist.
