6. Connections and Control Elements
5) Equalizer
Every mono channel equipped with a 3-band equaliser. With the controller HIGH, MIDand
LOW, you can increase or decrease the treble, middle and bass notes of the respective input
signal. The control range is b/-15dB (12kHz / 2,5kHz / 80Hz). IN controller position
“0” the sound is played back neutrally.
6) AUX 1 control
The AUX 1 control serves to mix a separate output signal at the AUX SEND 1 socket. The
signal for the AUX 1 control is taken before (PRE fader) or after (POST fader) the channel
fader depending on the switch position of the PRE switch. The AUX SEND signal is a mono
signal and can be amplified up to +15dB.
PRE-Fader = A change of the channel control does not influence the AUX SEND 1 output
signal. It is therefore suited for the control of a monitor device.
POST-Fader = A change of the channel control influences the AUX SEND 1 output signal. It
is therefore suited for the control of an effect device.
7) PRE switch
PRE switch pressed = PRE fader
PRE switch not pressed = POST fader
In POST-Fader position, the MUTE/ALT 3-4 switch influences the AUX SEND 1 output signal. The
output is muted.
In PRE-Fader position, the MUTE/ALT 3-4 switch does not influence the AUX SEND 1 output signal.
Please observe that the signal at the AUX SEND 1 socket is also influenced by the AUX SEND 1
control. See AUX- SEND 1 control
8) AUX 2 (FX) control
The AUX 2 (FX) control is used for mixing an effect signal. Send the channel signal (POST fader) to the integrated
digital effect processor (DSP) and the AUX SEND 2 (FX) socket) with the AUX 2 (FX) control.
