14. Disposal
For the sake of our environment and to enable full recycling of the used raw material, the user is
asked to bring the worn and defective devices to public collecting places for electric scrap. The sym-
bol showing a crossed-out dust bin on wheels means that this product must be taken to a collection
site for electronic scrap to ensure the best possible recycling of the raw materials.
15. Troubleshooting
By purchasing this system you have acquired a product that has been designed to the state of the art and is ope-
rationally reliable. Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur. For this reason, the following is a description of
how you can eliminate possible malfunctions yourself.
Please observe the safety notes!
Device does not work after the mains switch has been switched on:
• The mains cable has not been plugged into the socket correctly
• The mains cable has not been plugged into the socket correctly.
• The mains fuse is defective and must be replaced. See Replace the fuse.
No signal is output through the MAIN OUTPUT sockets.
• The MAIN MIX sliders are not set correctly.
• Check the cables connected to the MAIN OUTPUT sockets.
• The volume control of the PA amplifier is set to “MINIMUM”.
A channel is not output through the MAIN OUTPUT sockets.
• Check the video cable connected to the channel input.
• Is there a signal present at the channel input? Check the signal source.
• The TRIM control and the channel fader of the channel are not set correctly.
• The MUTE/ALT 3-4 switch of the channel is pressed.
Only one channel is output through the MAIN OUTPUT sockets.
• Check the PAN/BAL control settings for the channel.
• A MAIN MIX slider are not set correctly.
• Check the cables connected to the MAIN OUTPUT sockets.
• The volume control of one PA amplifier channel is set to “MINIMUM”.
No playback on the ALT 3-4 outputs.
• Is there a signal present at the channel input? Check the signal source.
• The TRIM control and the channel fader of the channel are not set correctly.
• Was a playback channel selected with the MUTE/ALT 3-4 switches?
• The ALT 3-4 sliders are not set correctly.
