15.4.2
Sequence trigger and step modes
The mode of playback sequences can be set in the same way as sequences inside the cue. Hold [SHIFT]
while you press the bump button under the playback sequence you wish to configure. The same dialog that
can also be seen in the Sequence trigger and step mode of the cue appears.
15.4.3
Capturing the value
Often it may seem that the faders do not respond immediately. This is the case when the actual fader value is
above or below the current intensity value of the sequence. This can happen when you scroll through pages or
return from the programmer (manual fixture override).
You need to go past the current intensity to gain control over it again. This is also called capturing the current
value.
This may look annoying at first, but it is this same feature that prevents playbacks from suddenly becoming
active when you return from the programmer (manual fixture override).
15.4.4
Auto lock
The moment you activate a playback, it is locked automatically in its current position. This means that the
PB will no longer scroll along with the ones that are inactive.
The moment you deactivate the PB, it is unlocked again.

Cue lists
The main purpose of cue lists is to automatically run cues. Cue lists are especially useful if you use the
console as a stand-alone unit. The cue list uses the same cues that you normally launch with the cue
buttons. You can use the following options to control the progress of your automated show. A cue list can
have up to 99 steps.
•
WAIT with WT x S: Xciter waits x seconds before launching the cue inside the current step. The wait
time can be maximum 6553.5 seconds.
•
FOLLOW with FT x S: Xciter launches the cue inside the current step immediately and follows it for x
seconds before proceeding to the next step. It adds the FT (Follow Time) to the ST (Scene Time) of
the background scene inside the cue.
•
GO: Xciter waits until you press the right arrow button before launching the cue inside the current step.
•
GOTO with To = x: Xciter jumps to step x of the cue list. If you place this function at the end of a cue
list with To=1, that list will loop infinitely.
•
LOOP with Loopcount = x and To = y: Xciter jumps to step y of the cue list x times before proceeding
to the underlying steps.
•
LAMP_ON: Execute lamp on procedures for all patched fixtures.
•
LAMP_RESET: Execute reset procedures for all patched fixtures.
•
LAMP_OFF: Execute lamp off procedures for all patched fixtures.
