Conventions used
The following conventions are used in this information product.
Product release
DEFINITY
Enterprise Communications Server is called “ECS” or
“switch”. Unless otherwise noted, the term ECS includes Releases 6, 7,
and 8. The functionality of earlier switch releases is noted if it differs
from that of Releases 6 through 8.
