Desired power: 100%
Here, the desired burner power can be set to any between 30 and 100%.
NOTICE: It is set to 100% by default; before reducing the power, the "delay" should be expired
(Text: "Please WAIT ... xxx Min" not displayed).
(See also in section "Adjust burner power")
"Pellet working"
"Pellet working" = Display of burner status (as in home screen below the boiler temperature)
"Please WAIT .... 74Min"
Measurement approval display:
Please WAIT....xxMin = you have to wait for the minimum runtime before starting the
measurements (purpose: boiler stoking in pellet operation, building of embers core in log
operation).
DO NOT MEASURE! = At least one value (boiler, combustion chamber, or oxygen value) is beyond
the "ideal" range. Wait with measurement until the values are reached.
MEASURE NOW! = All values in "ideal" range, execute measurement.
„Boiler“
"DO NOT MEASURE" is displayed until the boiler temperature "45°C" reaches at least the value in
brackets "(72°C)".
NOTICE: If heating room (ambient temperature below 10°C) and if boiler was cooled off before
measuring operation, the loading to the minimum temperature can take up to 3 hours!!
The boiler temperature after loading is 70°C after heating and keeps constant:
Possible cause 1: Return temperature too low (with a return temperature of approx. 57°C, the
boiler temperature must at least reach 72°C at 100% burner power).
Solution: Measure return temperature – should be between 55 and 57°C.
If too low, rise the set value at the return-valve, rise valve by approx. 2°C (e.g. valve head of
Oventrop setting exactly between 5 und 6).
"Cc-Temp."
"DO NOT MEASURE" is displayed until the combustion chamber temperature "269°C" has reached at
least the value in brackets "(330°C").
"Oxygen" value
"DO NOT MEASURE" is displayed if the oxygen value is beyond certain limits.
Pelletoperation:
Oxygen value too high:
Possible cause 1: Not enough fuel
Solution: Refill fuel (reservoir or storage room)
Possible cause 2: Doors or heat exchanger lid leaking.
Solution: Stop burner, check door and lid tightness.
Possible cause 3: Freshly cleaned boiler or flue too strong
Solution: Wait, the control will adjust the draft-fans rotational speed automatically
Possible cause 4: Lambda probe deviates (measured value too high).
Solution: Adjust corrected value: see section "Oxygen correction".
