Notiﬁcation settings

Notiﬁcations:

Checkmark this setting to allow your phone to receive a

notiﬁcation in the Status Bar whenever you receive a new message.

Notiﬁcation sound:

Opens a dialog box where you can select the sound

when you receive a new message notiﬁcation. This setting is greyed-out,
when the phone is set to Vibration mode or Silent mode.

Vibrate:

Opens a dialog box to set the phone vibration setting when you

receive a new message notiﬁcation. This setting is greyed-out when the
phone is set to normal Sounds mode or Silent mode.

New message popup:

Checkmark this setting to enable a dialog box to

alert you to new message arrival(s).

CMAS settings

These are the settings associated the Commercial Mobile Alert System
(CMAS).

Presidential alert:

This setting allows presidential alerts to be always

presented. This setting is greyed-out because it cannot be changed.

Extreme alert:

Checkmark this setting so that Extreme alerts are always

presented.

Severe alert:

Checkmark this setting so that Severe alerts are always

presented.

AMBER alert:

Checkmark this setting so that AMBER alerts are always

presented.

Alert reminder:

Opens a dialog box so you can set when to be reminded of

the alerts you set.
