Netscape and Microsoft continue to release frequent updates to their
browsers. As support cannot be guaranteed for all versions, use the versions
specified above for best results.
Instructions below apply to computers using Ethernet protocols.

OOLS ON EACH CLIENT WORKSTATION
:
1. Enable TCP/IP on the Ci1000.
2. Make sure the workstation has a valid, unique IP address.
3. Make sure the workstation is installed with an Internet browser.
4. Launch the Internet browser.
5. Enter the IP address or DNS name of the printer in the browser’s URL line.
The printer’s home page appears. For more information on using Fiery WebTools,
see page 6-18 and Drivers and Utilities.

The following instructions describe printing to a network port using the Details
tab of the Printer Properties dialog.

OTE
:
The Details tab of the Printer Properties dialog is not available when the
dialog is accessed using File>Print from within applications. This tab appears only
when the Printer Properties dialog is accessed via the Printers folder.

95:
1. From the Start menu, choose Settings, and click Printers.
2. Select the Ci1000 printer icon, and choose Properties from the File menu.
3. Click the Details tab in the Properties window and click Add Port.
