1. Turn the main switch on.
2. After the machine is stabilized, enter simulation mode (Enter 10871087 with the
numeric keys).
3. Run simulation 60 (Enter 60 with the numeric keys and press the print key).
* The machine starts driving and the setting of the toner control voltage is
automatically made.
* The operation ends about 3 min. later and the setting of the toner control
voltage is automatically completed.
The copy number/zoom ratio indicator shows the setting.
Example: 2.80 (Reference setting)
Caution: If the copy number/zoom ratio indicator shows “000” or “500” the toner
sensor has a problem. Check the sensor.
4. Record the setting on the simulation label.
5. Press the stop/clear key.
1. Enter 01 with the numeric keys and press the print key.
* Simulation mode is exited and returns to the normal mode.
Initialize the toner control level (simulation 60).
Exit simulation mode.
