Laser Safety Scanners
The safety laser scanner scans its environment with infrared laser beams.The laser scanner forms
a protective field in the area of concern This protective field protects the hazardous area and
enables hazardous-point protection, access protection or hazardous-area protection.
Homing
Reset the scanner then press the Home button on the Operator Interface.
If the scanner field is broken during this sequence, the Screwdriver shift will stop and wait for you
to reset the scanner before it starts again.
Screw Driving Sequence
If the scanner field is broken during this sequence, the Screwdriver will stop shifting and wait for
you to reset the scanner before it starts again.
Once the screw drivers start dropping down and the Scanner field is broken, the machine the ver-
tical breaks will be applied.
The machine will have to be reset and re-homed.
