hydraulic system
6.7.1 High-pressure filter
All Series XL feeder wagons with the

high-pressure pipework to the valve unit.
Change the filter (3) after each season.
Changing the filter element
• Switch the hydraulic system to the
non-pressurised state.
Place a vessel of sufficient capacity
underneath to hold the escaping oil.
• Slacken the filter bottom section (4) using screw
wrench SW27.
• Remove the filter bottom section (4) and shake out the
remaining oil.
• Clean the filter bottom section (4).
• Pull out the old filter element (3).
• Push the new filter element (3) onto the valve collar.
• Check the O-ring (2) on the filter bottom section (4).
If the O-ring is damaged, replace it with
a new one.
• Replace the filter bottom section and screw it in.
• Tighten to the end stop in the filter top section (1).
