3.4 Connections
3.4.1 Hydraulic connection
When connecting the hydraulic hoses,
make sure that the hydraulic systems on
the tractor and the machine are not under
pressure.
• Take the hydraulic hoses out of their retainers on the
tow-bar.
• Remove the caps from the hoses.
• Clean the plug-in connectors of the hydraulic hoses (7)
(8) before coupling them together.
• Install the pressure hose (8), nominal diameter 15, and
the return hose (7), nominal diameter 18, at a tractor
valve (5) (6).
The tractor valve may be
• a double-acting tractor valve with
pressureless return
or
• a single-acting connection with
pressureless return connection.
Follow the colour coding on the
tractor hydraulic system.

hydraulic systems, see Section
"Hydraulic unit".
3.4.2 Electrical connection in general for
standard and operator-friendly units
• Connect the 7-core cable connection (3) for the lights
to the 7-way plug connector (1) on the tractor electrical
system.
• Connect the power supply cable (4) to the 3-way socket
(2).
• Arrange the cable so that it does not come into contact
with the wheels.
If there is no connection on the tractor: -
socket with connection, acquire a cable
from the ET service
