Structure of the SMPTE Pattern
Each frame of the SMPTE pattern printed for test purposes is comprised of "16-step
wedge" and "SMPTE" pattern.
Measure the density on the "16-step wedge" or the "SMPTE" pattern to control the
density.

Touch the [PRINT] button.
- Displays a confirmation message for test print.

SMPTE pattern will be printed upon termination of the Maintenance Mode. However,
in User Level 1 or 2 (Menu Mode), SMPTE pattern will be printed upon the registra-
tion of its print job.

Touch the [YES] button.
- Registers the print job for SMPTE pattern, and returns to
the "Maintenance Mode (PRINT SETUP)" screen.
- Touching the [NO] button will return to the "Mainte-
nance Mode (PRINT SETUP)" screen without printing the
SMPTE pattern.
