misfeed at ADF
section
• The original does not block the paper interval sensor (PS103) even after the
lapse of a given period of time after the original feed is started.
• The original does not block the registration sensor (REYB100) even after the
lapse of a given period of time after the original blocks the paper interval sensor
(PS103).
• The duration between the original’s blocking and unblocking of the paper inter-
val sensor (PS103) is shorter than a given period of time.
• When the preceding page of the original blocks and then unblocks the registra-
tion sensor (REYB1009), the subsequent page of the original does not block
the paper interval sensor (PS103).
• The original does not block the registration sensor (REYB100) even after the
lapse of a given period of time after the original is fed again.
• The original does not block the before read sensor (REYB101) even after the
lapse of a given period of time after the original blocked the registration sensor
(REYB100).
• The original blocks the before read sensor (REYB101) longer than a given
period of time.
Detection of paper
left in ADF section • When the power switch is turned ON, the registration sensor (REYB100),
before read sensor (REYB101), or paper interval sensor (PS103) is blocked.
