In the gear illustration, select the location of the sensor.

Select the direction the sensor is going to point to, either to the vessel or to the trawl.

Choose the measurements you want the sensor to make and define the relevant
parameters.
By default, PX MultiSensor Mk2, PX Universal, PX MultiCatch and PX Flow
sensors can make 2 measurements. When interfacing a SR type receiver unit, PX
MultiSensor Mk2, PX Universal and PX MultiCatch sensors can make up to five
measurements. The PX Flow sensor can make up to eight measurements. Remote
functions are not considered as a measurement.

Select the communication
Channel
.
This is specially important if you wish to use several sensors to operate on
different communication channels. This is also important to avoid interference if
several vessels equipped with identical catch monitoring systems are operating
simultaneously in the same area.

Select
Calibrate Sensor
.
If you want your sensor to measure the pitch and roll of the trawl doors, you must
calibrate it.

Select
Program Sensor
to transfer the chosen parameters to the sensor.

In the
Sensor list
page, verify if the sensor appears with the correct parameters.

Disconnect the sensor from the interface cable and the computer.
Result
The sensor is configured for use.
