Catch monitoring sensors are delivered from Kongsberg Maritime readily set up
with common default settings. Each individual sensor can be configured to specify
its communication channel, which measurements to make and some other relevant
operating parameters.
Prerequisites
This procedure assumes that a suitable receiver unit has been connected to the Processor
Unit, and that all relevant communication parameters have been defined.
This procedure assumes that a sensor is connected to the computer with the configuration
cable.
Context
The configuration parameters available in the relevant configuration dialog boxes allow
you to set up which measurements the sensor shall make and which communication
channels it shall use for these measurements.
The specific measurements a sensor can make depend on its lid type, its physical location
on the gear, and on the type of receiver you use.
