Keys test
This test lets you check the functionality of each front panel key.
Perform the following steps to run the KEYS test:
1. If the Model 2651A is in remote mode, press the
EXIT (LOCAL)
key once to place the instrument
in local mode.
2. Press
the
MENU
key.
3. Navigate through the menus by turning the navigation wheel
, and then pressing the
ENTER
key to select the items as follows:
DISPLAY > TEST > DISPLAY-TESTS
.
4. Turn the navigation wheel
until the
KEYS
menu item is highlighted.
5. To start the test, press the
ENTER
key. While testing, when a key is pressed, the label name for
that key will be displayed to indicate that it is functioning properly. When the key is released, the
message “No keys pressed” is displayed.
6. Pressing
the
EXIT (LOCAL)
key tests the
EXIT (LOCAL)
key. However, the second consecutive
press of the
EXIT (LOCAL)
key aborts the test and returns the instrument to the FRONT PANEL
TESTS menu. Continue pressing the
EXIT (LOCAL)
key to back out of the menu structure.
