Pulse sync output
The Model 2520 has a pulse sync output that allows synchronization of external equip-
ment to the laser diode current source pulse.
Pulse sync waveform
shows the pulse sync waveform, which is a 5V pulse with 50
Ω
output imped-
ance. The pulse timing and duration are approximately the same as those for the laser
diode current source pulse; however, there is a certain amount of latency between the pulse
sync and the laser diode current pulse.
