These query commands are used to read the contents of the condition
registers.

Return registers to default conditions

Description

When this command is sent, the following SCPI event registers are
cleared to zero (0):

1. Operation Event Enable Register.
2. Event Enable Register.
3. Measurement Event Enable Register.

NOTE

The Standard Event Register is not affected by this command.

Error queue

[:NEXT]?

:STATus:QUEue[:NEXT]?

Read Error Queue

Description

As error and status messages occur, they are placed into the Error
Queue. This query command is used to read those messages. See

Appendix B

for a list of messages.

NOTE

The :STATus:QUEue[:NEXT]? query command performs the same function as
the :SYSTem:ERRor? query command. See

“SYSTem subsystem,” page 14-51
