Whether system registry changes are monitored
By default,
Enable Registry Guard
is checked, which means
Kaspersky Internet Security analyzes all attempts to make changes to the
Microsoft Windows system registry keys.
You can create your own rules (see 10.1.4.2 on pg. 131) for monitoring
the registry, depending on the registry key.

Whether macros are scanned
The monitoring of Visual Basic for Applications macros on your computer
is controlled by checking the box
Enable Office Guard
, which is
checked by default.
You can select which macros are considered dangerous and what to do
to them (see 10.1.3 on pg. 126).
