User-defined tariffs
. Each tariff is composed of a prefix and a cost per
minute. All the fields of the tariff may be modified. The tariff applies 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week.
Predefined Tariffs
. Supplied with the unit. In this case, each tariff is defined
by a name, a list of associated prefixes, and a cost per minute. The user may
only modify the cost
The third line of the display,
‘
About
‘, shows the tariff file loaded. If the text ‘USER
TARIFFS
’
appears, it means that the tariffs have been introduced by the ser through
the console or the web page. Otherwise, it shows the name and version of the
predefined tariffs (for example ESP-JUN10).
In case predefined tariffs are loaded, please refer to the TARIFFS
appendix
If TaxLine IP has been supplied with no loaded tariffs, calls shall not be costed until
tariffs are introduced.
Each tariff is composed of the following items:
Telephone Prefix (for example area code).
Price per minute (2 decimal points).
Charging period in seconds.
For each charging period, the cost is increased in proportion with the cost per minute.
For example:
If the cost per minute is 1.00, the cost of the call will vary according to the charging
period as shown hereafter:

When TaxLine IP has to compute the cost of a call, it looks for the prefix which best
adjusts to the dialled number, and applies the tariff associated to that prefix.
