Configuring VPLS

This chapter describes how to configure the virtual private LAN service (VPLS) on the
router.

The JunosE implementation of VPLS uses features of transparent bridging, BGP, MPLS,
LDP, BGP/MPLS VPNs, and layer 2 services over MPLS. We recommend that you have
a thorough understanding of these protocols before you configure and use VPLS in your
network.

NOTE:
