Receiving external water temperature data (TEMP. INPUT)
Select "SENSOR" to connect an external water temperature sensor
directly to your fishfinder, or "EXT." to receive external water
temperature data using the NMEA-0183.
The types of water temperature sensors which can be connected
are listed below.

CHG-97 (Water temperature/vessel speed sensor)
2
T80 (Compact water temperature sensor, Approx. error rate:
±0.5 degC.)
3
OP-102J (Kingston-mounted type, Approx. error rate: ±0.3
degC.)
When no water temperature sensors or water temperature data
lines are connected, water temperature display will disappear
automatically.
Specify the water temperature input method as follows:

Display the FISH FINDER SETTING menu by pressing the
and
keys together.

Move control to "INITIAL SETTING" by pressing the
or
key, and display the INITIAL SETTING submenu by pressing the
key.
3
Move control to "DATA INPUT" by pressing the
or
key,
and display "DATA INPUT" by pressing the
key.
4
Move control to "TEMP. INPUT" by pressing the
or
key.
5
Move control to either "SENSOR" or "EXT." by pressing the
or
key.
6
Press the
MARK
key to return to the INITIAL SETTING menu.

Press the
GRAPH
key to return to the fishfinding display.
Receiving external vessel speed data (SPEED INPUT)
Select "SENSOR" to connect an external vessel speed sensor directly to
your fishfinder, or "EXT." to receive vessel speed data using the NMEA-
0183.
The CHG-97 (water temperature/vessel speed sensor) can be
connected.
Specify the vessel speed input method as follows:

Display the FISH FINDER SETTING menu by pressing the

Move control to "INITIAL SETTING" by pressing the

key, and display the INITIAL SETTING submenu by pressing the

Move control to "DATA INPUT" by pressing the
