3.OPERATIONS
Changing the density of the entire video color (ADC MODE)
The density of the entire fishfinding video color can be changed by
varying the setting of the ADC mode. Select "7" as the density level for
normal operating conditions. A higher density level creates more bluish
video, and a lower level creates more reddish video.
Change the setting of the ADC mode as follows:

Display the FISH FINDER SETTING menu by pressing the
and
keys together.

Move control to "ADC MODE" by pressing the
or
key.
3
Select the desired ADC MODE value from eight types ("1" to "8")
by pressing the
or
key. The standard value is "7".
4
Press the
GRAPH
key to return to the fishfinding display.
Select "6" to search for small schools of fish and for isolated fish.

Enhancing fish video density (TX PULSE WIDTH)
The density of video can be enhanced for easier identification by
adjusting TX PULSE WIDTH (transmitter pulse width) to either "LONG"
or "SHORT". It may become possible to create clearer and sharper
video of small fish by adjusting TX PULSE WIDTH to "LONG", that is to
say, increasing the pulse width.
Adjust TX PULSE WIDTH as follows:

Display the FISH FINDER SETTING menu by pressing the

Move control to "TX PULSE WIDTH" by pressing the

key.

Select either "LONG" or "SHORT" by pressing the
or
key.

Press the
GRAPH
key to return to the fishfinding display.
In the shallow range, the "LONG" transmitter pulse width may
increase the length of the zero line and/or deteriorate video range
resolution.
