Displaying the bottom hardness (BH value) on a graph (DEPTH & BH)
The relationship between water depth and the hardness of the bottom
can be displayed on a graph.
This graph can be displayed using the following procedure:

Display the main menu by pressing the
and
keys together.

Move control to "GRAPH" by pressing the
or
key, and
then move control to the GRAPH SETTING submenu by pressing
the
key.

Move control to "TYPE" by pressing the
or
key.
4
Move control to "DEPTH/BH" by pressing the
or
key.
5
Press the
MARK
key to return to the main menu.
6
Press the
GRAPH
key to return to the fishfinding display.
The hardness of the bottom (BH) is displayed in white, and water
depth, in red.
In general, the tail width in the bottom echo depends on the
hardness of the bottom, as shown below. Bottom hardness is
automatically analyzed and displayed as a BH level from 1 to 8 to
provide a measure of bottom hardness.
