Operating your fishfinder with an external trigger (EXT. TRIG. IN)
Connection of an external trigger input signal line requires separate
modification of the rear panel. Such modification is optional (extra
charges required). If you desire this modification, please contact
your JRC dealer.
Set "EXT. TRIG. IN" to "ON" to operate your fishfinder by sending an
external trigger signal in order to include external fishfinding video in the
dual-display or suppress interference.
To make a dual display by receiving external fishfinding signals,
also set "EXT. SIG. IN" to "ON" seeing page 58.
Use the following procedure to operate your fishfinder with an external

1
Display the FISH FINDER SETTING menu by pressing the
and

2

Modifying the characteristics of the GAIN control (VR CURVE)

The "LINEAR" characteristic changes so that the gain level uniformly
increases for GAIN control settings from "0" to "10". A gain level from
"4" to "7" is standard.
The "C CURVE" characteristic changes to nearly 70% of the maximum
gain with GAIN control settings from "0" to "3". A gain level from "1" to
"3" is standard (the default is "C CURVE").
Use the following procedure to modify the characteristics of the GAIN
control:
1
Display the FISH FINDER SETTING menu by pressing the
and
keys together.
