Rejecting specific colors (COLOR REJ.)
Only specific colors can be reject from video, irrespective of whether
noise suppression and STC are valid. Using this function allows the
user to suppress screen noise and clear unnecessary schools of fish
from the screen, by rejecting the specified colors in order of the signal
level.
Reject colors as follows:
1
Display the FISH FINDER SETTING menu by pressing the
and
keys together.

Move control to "COLOR REJ." by pressing the
or
key,
and display the COLOR REJECTION submenu by pressing the
key.
3
Set the color specification frame of the color sample to the color
(signal) to be cleared, by pressing the
or
key.
4
Pressing the
key turns display off (display invalid).
To turn display back on (display valid), set the color specification
frame to the desired color and then press the
key.

If necessary, clear other colors as well by repeating steps
3
and
4
above.
6
Press the
MARK
key to return to the FISH FINDER SETTING menu.

Press the
GRAPH
key to return to the fishfinding display.
Do not change the display mode during the modification of COLOR
REJ. setup operations. If the display mode is changed, the color
specification frame on the color sample will disappear.
If the color specification frame overlaps the cursor, the linear cursor
on the color sample will disappear.
The time marker will also disappear if the eighth color from the
bottom of the color sample is specified as the color to be cleared.
The event marker will also disappear if the sixth color from the
bottom of the color sample is specified as the color to be cleared.
