Changing the chart feed speed (
CH.
SPD
key)
Each time the
CH.
SPD
key is pressed, the chart feed speed will initially
change to "1/1", "1/2", "1/3", "1/4", "1/5", "1/6", "1/7", "1/8", "1/9", and "-/-"
(off), in that order. Hold down the key to skip to the "-/-" (off) position.
Release the key to restart the feed speed change operations.
Displaying/hiding graph (
GRAPH
key)
The
GRAPH
key allows you to display either a graph of changes in water
temperature and water depth or a graph of changes in water depth and
BH.
The hardness of the bottom is digitally displayed as BH in the range
from "1" to "8". See "Bottom discrimination mode" on page 10.
Another press of the
GRAPH
key hides the graph.
See page 34 for settings on graph display.

Suppressing noise ([CLUTTER] controls)
Use the [CLUTTER] controls to suppress the screen noise that cannot
be reduced with the [STC] controls.
Two [CLUTTER] controls are provided: one for high-frequency use, and
one for low-frequency use.
Perform adjustments by rotating the control corresponding to the
frequency to be selected. The setting of "0" makes noise suppression
invalid. The standard setting of the control is "3".
