Dispatch Source Options
•
USB Headset –
If a JPS-approved USB headset is plugged into the Z2C when it is
powered on, an icon will appear in the upper left corner of the
Resources Area
. Simply
drag and drop the headset into the
Dispatch Source
area.
JPS-approved headsets have pre-installed drivers and the wireless headsets use a USB
dongle. A list of JPS-approved USB headsets and additional audio settings and operation
information can be found in Section 1.5 of this Manual.
The Z2C Dispatch Source is not restricted by proximity to the unit itself.
•
Any Channel –
Any of the channels represented by the icons in the
Resources Area
can
be used as the
Dispatch Source
.
•
MCC-4 Multi-Channel Desktop Console –
Another simple option is the JPS-branded
MCC-4 Multi-Channel Console (shown below). This unit includes the JPS Bridge
channel protocol, allowing it to connect remotely to a Z2 Controller without any need to
be interfaced through a remote unit. A single-button version (the MCC‑1) is available as
well.
