For the SAB 80 screw compressor types with the oil filter mounted before the oil pump,
i.e. SAB 80, S 50, S 70, S 93, the oil pump differential (excess) pressure readout is
now available in the
Control values / Oil
picture.
For the screw compressor types SAB 120, 151, 193, 233, 283, 355 and 157 HR, a mi-
nor change was made for the oil pump logic. The oil pump differential (excess) pres-
sure is now calculated as the difference between oil pressure before filter (P4) and the
discharge pressure (P2).
For the ‘low pressure’ screw compressor types, you may choose the high-pressure
ranges 25/59/59/59 bar or 25/59/25/25 bar. To support the use of a 25 bar suction
transmitter, the high limits for high alarm and set points are now raised too.
The
Liquid slugging
function for SABflex has been modified. At compressor start-up,
the liquid slugging alarm and shutdown is disabled for 20 seconds to avoid false
alarms. The liquid slugging alarm and shutdown are also disabled during the compres-
sor stop sequence, i.e. when the SSTV valve starts to close.
A new high-pressure reciprocating compressor type, HPX, has been introduced. The
HPX type is based on the HPC 100 compressor series, but it is released to higher dis-
charge and differential pressures. The allowed speed range is 500 to 1800 rpm.
For the ‘low pressure’ reciprocating compressor types, SMC/TSMC, CMO/TCMO, you
may now choose the high-pressure ranges 25/59/59/59 bar or 25/59/25/25 bar. To sup-
port the use of a 25 bar suction transmitter, the high limits for suction pressure high
alarm and suction pressure set points are raised too.
A new external WHC (Water Heating and Cooling) device is available to secure a prop-
er high discharge temperature for HPC, HPO and HPX, when used as a heat pump. To
supervise the WHC function, it is now possible to enable low shutdown and low alarm
for discharge temperature.
The
Liquid slugging
function for reciprocating compressors is modified. At start-up the
liquid slugging alarm and shutdown are disabled for 20 seconds to avoid false alarms.
It is now possible for screw compressors with VSD drive to configure if the FAN output
