Viewing software versions
The software version screen provides the software version of the internal
components such as the boot code and ATM driver. It also reports the modem
firmware and annex type (annex A or B).
To view internal software versions
1 Select SYSTEM SETUP from the Main Menu.
2 Select SW VERSION .
The software version of the internal components appear.
Setting the date and time
The ADSL/Copper Tester has an internal clock that you can set to provide
accurate time stamps for test results. The clock uses a 24-hour format.
The following procedure describes how to set the time.
To set the time
1 Select SYSTEM SETUP from the Main Menu.
2 Select DATE-TIME .
3 Enter the current hour, minutes, and seconds.
Use the arrow keys to move among each field.
4 Press the OK key.
The time is set.
The following procedure describes how to set the date.
To set the date
1 Select SYSTEM SETUP from the Main Menu.
2 Select DATE-TIME .
3 Scroll down to the DATE.
4 Enter the current month, day, and year in numerical form. For example, the
date April 1, 2004 would be 4/1/2004.
5 Press the OK key.
The date is set.
Changing the date format
Using the Date and Time menu, you can change the format of the date.You can
specify either MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY formats.
To change the date format
1 Select SYSTEM SETUP from the Main Menu.
