WAN and LAN status results
The WAN status result screen reports the current status of the WAN.
– Configuring
– Starting
– PPP connecting (only if using a PPP mode)
– Network status (Up or Down)
– IP type (Static or Dynamic)
– IP address
– MAC address
Ping results
Table 13 describes the ping results.
Gateway/DNS results
Table 14 describes the gateway/DNS results.

Result Definition
DEST Destination address where the ping is being sent.
SENT The number of ping messages sent.
RECEIVED The number of ping messages sent to the ADSL/Copper
Tester from other devices on the network.
DELAY The current time in milliseconds it has taken one transmit-
ted ping to reach its destination and receive a reply back
to the ADSL/Copper Tester.
MIN DELAY The shortest time in milliseconds it has taken any one
transmitted ping to reach its destination and receive a
reply back to the ADSL/Copper Tester.
MAX DELAY The longest time in milliseconds it has taken any one
transmitted ping to reach its destination and receive a
reply back to the ADSL/Copper Tester.
AVG DELAY The average time in milliseconds it has taken any one
transmitted ping to reach its destination and receive a
reply back to the ADSL/Copper Tester.

Result Definition
GATEWAY TYPE Whether the gateway configuration is static or dynamic.
GATEWAY IP The IP address of the gateway.
DNS TYPE Whether the DNS configuration is static or dynamic.
DNS 1, 2, 3 The IP addresses of up to three DNS servers.
