Saving a test configuration
After you specify settings for a configuration, you can store the configuration,
and then run tests in the future using the same, or edited settings. To save
time, you can define and store up to 8 configurations using your most common
settings, and then load an existing configuration and edit the settings as
needed for your current test.
To save a test configuration
1 Specify the settings for the configuration.
2 Select MODEM TEST .
3 Select CONFIG STORE .
You may have to scroll down to view the CONFIG STORE selection.
4 Scroll to the desired location number.
5 Press the 1 key.
6 Enter the file name.
7 Press the OK key.
The test configuration is stored.
Loading a configuration
After you save a configuration, you can load it at any time to run a test using
the configuration settings.
To load a test configuration
1 Select MODEM TEST .
2 Select CONFIG STORE .
3 Scroll to the desired file name to load.
4 Press the 2 key.
5 Press the OK key.
The test configuration is loaded.
NOTE:
If you change a setting, it is not automatically saved. You must either save
the configuration again and overwrite the previous settings, or create a new
configuration.
NOTE:
Configurations can be imported from the Download Manager (versions
2.00.xx or later). Please refer to the Download Manager instructions.
