Chapter 5 REGISTRATION MODE
5.4 PLU DELETE (P02-03)

[P02 Screen]
Make sure that “PLU Name” screen (P02)
appears on the display.
Otherwise, access this screen by referring to
Section 5.1: Registration Mode Entry/Exit.

[Key In PLU No.]
Press the [ENTER] key to access “Key In PLU
No.” screen (P02-00).
Key in a PLU number (8 digits) and press the
[PLU] key to call up a desired PLU.

[Commodity Name Edit]
Press the [ENTER] key to enter Edit Mode
screen (P02-01).
This will allow changes to be made to the
Item/PLU’s name.
NOTE: If Item Deletion is required then skip
this step and proceed to step 4 instead.

Refer to Chapter 6 for editing a text.

[Item Delete]
Press the [DELETE] key to access ITEM
DELETE screen (P02-03).

[Delete]
Press the [CHARACTER DELETE] key again
to execute deletion.
To delete item press [DELETE]
A short beep will be heard indicating deletion.
Note: In order to cancel the deletion, press
the [ENTER] key before pressing the
[DELETE] key.
