A.1 ERROR CODE & MESSAGES
If you encounter any problems, before proceeding to the troubleshooting chart, reinitialize the
machine by pressing the RESET key. If the problems still continue, follow the instructions listed in
the troubleshooting chart. If problems are not solved using the instructions in the troubleshooting
chart, contact Toshiba TEC America’s service representative.
Error Code & Message Probable Cause & Measures
OVER THE LIMIT FOR ITEM CHAR.
Label printing is not possible because the number of
entered item characters is too many for the label.
Press the
CLEAR key to exit the error condition.
OVER THE LIMIT FOR MESSAGE CHAR.
Label printing is not possible because the number of
entered message 1 characters is too many for the
label. Press the
CLEAR key to exit the error
condition.
OVER THE LIMIT FOR ADDRESS CHAR.
Label printing is not possible because the number of
entered address characters is too many for the label.
Press the
CLEAR key to return to exit the error
condition.
LABEL END
Replace with a new roll of labels. Press the CLEAR
key to exit the error condition.
LABEL SIZE ERROR
The label size may be different from the
predetermined size. Press the
CLEAR key to exit the
error condition.
INCORRECT MARKDOWN AMOUNT
The entered price may be incorrect. Press the
CLEAR key to exit the error condition. Try to enter
the price again.
