Data Entry Commands - Clear

Clear
Purpose: Clears the current record in the buffer. If the reader is in buffered terminal
mode, the reader sends as many backspace–space–backspace strings as
necessary to clear the record on the screen. Also clears the
preamble/postamble buffer if preamble/postamble data is entered.
If the buffer is empty, the reader sounds three low beeps. If the buffer is not
empty, the reader sounds two low beeps.
