Disassemble

Disconnect the mains connector.

Remove the cover, see Disassemble in Remove the Cover [
}
28].

Remove the four screws (A) holding the Front Panel (B).

Move the Front Panel (B) a little bit out from the chassis and disconnect the light
guide (D) from the panel.
5 Remove the Front Panel (B).
6 Pull out the LED (C) from the light guide (D). The LED is not glued.
Assemble 1 Insert the new LED into the light guide. Rear end of LED in line with the light
guide. Do not use adhesive.

Place the Front Panel correctly. Make sure that no cables are pinched between
the Front Panel and the chassis.

Reinstall and tighten the four screws (A) holding the Front Panel. Do not use
thread locking compound.
4 Perform a function test before the assembly continues.
Ensure the following functions, check that the:
ð
Display is centered in the Front Panel. If not, loosen the screws holding the
display and align it.
ð Blue LED is lit.
ð Display is lit up and functions.
ð Touch function on the display is working.
ð Sound in earphone and speaker is working.
ð Probe is working in both front and rear Probe sockets.
ð Electrical grounding is OK. Measure with a DVM between front probe
connection ground (the shield) and one of the screws in the back. The
resistance should be 9 ohm or lower.
