5.21 Functional Verification
5.21.1 Functional Verification of Sensitor Sentrac
1 Connect the Hand Probe P60 to the front connection port on the Sensistor
Sentrac.

Turn the Sensistor Sentrac unit on.

Verify that the Hand Probe P60 has the same software version number as
stated in the Sensistor Sentrac Software Installer.
If not: update the probe via USB cable.
4 Desktop Model: connect the power cable and verify that the plug is properly
mounted.

Verify that the blue LED on the panel lights up and pulsates.

Wait for warm-up to be completed.

If the display is changed, calibrate the touch-screen according to the instructions
on the display. Verify that:
ð Display
ð no staining (rainbow colors) is displayed. If so, the display is positioned
incorrectly and in tension.
ð
is well centered.
ð
contrast and brightness is good and the picture is stable (no flicker).
adjustment of brightness.
ð
no pixel / graphical glitches.
ð
touch function is operational.
ð
Grounding from the AC socket and ground exist. Use a multimeter to
measure between the center pin on the AC socket and the edge of the probe
cable connector. The result should be 9 ohm or lower.
ð
Rear connectors are well centered in their position holes.
ð
Front panel LEMO connector is fastened properly and turned in the right
direction (red dot facing up).
ð
Rear panel LEMO connector is fastened properly.

Function control of rear outputs:
ð
Device Port (probe connector)
ð
Connect Hand Probe P60 to Device Port.
ð
Turn the Sensistor Sentrac unit on.
ð
Verify that the probe and instrument function together.
ð
Leave the Sensistor Sentrac unit on.
