(b) Open the oil charging and drain valve slowly, allowing the oil to drain
into a suitable container. Do not allow oil to overflow the container.
(c) After draining, close the oil charging and drain valve and disconnect
the flexible tube.

D. Refrigerant:
The RJ150 is designed to use R-22, R134a, or R-407c refrigerant. Refer to
Section 1-3, Unit Configuration Matrix, to determine the type of refrigeration
used in a specific unit. If charging unit, ensure the proper refrigerant specified
for the unit is used.
E. Checking Refrigerant Charge:
With the unit operating in COOL mode (Refer to Section 1-2, Normal
Operating Procedures), the refrigerant charge may be observed by using the
refrigerant sight glass. (See Figure 4) A proper refrigerant charge will be
evident by the absence of bubbles, or the presence of very few bubbles in the
refrigerant flow when viewed through the sight glass. If there are many
bubbles in the refrigerant flow, the system must be recharged.
