OVERHAUL / MAJOR REPAIR
1. GENERAL
Under normal operating conditions and proper preventive maintenance, the GPU
should provide excellent service for a period of 7,000 to 10,000 hours (depending
on local conditions) before considerations should be given to major repair or
overhaul.
Overhaul or major repair of the engine should be accomplished in accordance
with the maintenance/overhaul recommendations of the manufacturer or their
authorized agents. Refer to appropriate Supplemental Technical Manuals as
required:
•
RJ150-CUM-01: Cummins/Marathon Engine/Generator Set.
•
RJ150-CUN-01: Cummins/Newage Engine/Generator Set.
•
RJ150-DZM-01: Deutz/Marathon Engine/Generator Set.
•
RJ150-PKM-01: Perkins/Marathon Engine/Generator Set.
The generator will normally require no overhaul other than normal maintenance
or repair procedures. If a rebuild is found to be advisable, the manufacturer
should be contacted for their recommendations and/or procedures.
The Trilectron Industries, Inc. built and mounted equipment requires no
scheduled overhaul. Normal maintenance and repair of the unit and subsystems
will maintain the equipment in proper working order.
