3. BATTERIES
The battery set is located on the chassis frame between the air inlet filter
assembly and the genset assembly. (See Figure 1)
•
Disconnect all negative ("-") terminals first, and then disconnect all positive
("+") terminals.
•
Carefully lift batteries out of battery tray to avoid damaging nearby
refrigeration piping.
•
Replace batteries by reversing the removal process. Ensure terminals are
connected correctly.
•
Operate unit to verify proper operation. Refer to Section 1-2, Operating
Procedures.
4. RADIATOR / CONDENSER COIL ASSEMBLY:
The radiator / condenser coil assembly is mounted on the mid-right side of the
unit. Removing this assembly requires complete refrigerant system evacuation
and recharging. Remove the canopy roof panels for top access.
•
Remove radiator exterior grille by removing retaining bolts.
CAUTION
DRAINING THE RADIATOR WILL REQUIRE APPROPRIATE COOLANT CATCH
AND DISPOSAL PROCEDURES. ENSURE ADJACENT EQUIPMENT IS
PROPERLY PROTECTED FROM ACCIDENTAL LIQUID SPLASHING. DO NOT
REUSE DRAINED COOLANT. RESTORE COOLANT SYSTEM TO PROPER
MIXTURE CONCENTRATION AND LEVEL PRIOR TO OPERATING GENSET.
•
Drain radiator coolant by opening radiator drain petcock mounted in the lower
radiator piping. (See Figure 7)
