1. Inspect components for security & for
chaffing.

2. Inspect for evidence of refrigerant or
compressor oil leaks

4. Inspect air inlet filter grille for debris or
blockage.

5. Check moisture/liquid indicator. If the
element appears PINK or VIOLET, install a
replacement filter-drier

6. Inspect air delivery hose for holes or tears.

7. Inspect air filter element for damage or dirt
build-up. Clean filter with low-pressure water
hose and backwash with non-caustic cleaning
agent mixed 2 parts cleaner and 1 part water.

8. Inspect adapter gasket for signs of wear.

9. Inspect compressor oil level in sight glass
located on the compressor housing. Oil level
should be at the halfway point (unit not
operating) in the sight glass. Add oil as
required.

9. Ensure evaporator condensate drains are
draining freely. Remove any sludge or trash
build-up in the condensate drain pans. Flush
with water.

10. During normal operation, inspect
refrigerant sight glass for refrigerant charge.
Bubbles in the sight glass may indicate low
refrigerant charge. Check unit while under
load. Low load or cold days with hot gas
bypassing could give false readings.

11. Check for dirt build-up on condenser coil
inlet. Clean the coils using low-pressure
sprayer and mild detergent/cleaning solution.
Spray parallel to fins to avoid bending fins.

12. Clean condenser fan blades using a
suitable solvent or by scraping deposits from
the blades.

13. Inspect blower motor for secure mounting.
Lubricate blower bearings.
