INTRODUCTION
The Hybrid Ultra is a flexible, N+1 redundant DC power system with
intelligent networked control, advanced battery management, managed
load distribution options, and a 12- or 24-volt integrated DC-DC Converter
Module in a pre-configured 2RU rack mount chassis. The power chassis
features a factory-installed Intelligent Control Module (ICM) with front
graphic display and up to five parallel-connected hot-swappable 700- or
1,500-watt, 24- or 48-volt Power Modules, for a combined 7,500 watts or
270 amps continuous output rating.

System Components and Features
A typical configuration is illustrated in Figure 1. This unit consists of a power
chassis with an ICM, four 700- or 1,500-watt Power Modules, a dual input
Battery Management Module (BMMD), an integrated DC-DC Converter
Module, and two Load Distribution Modules (LDM) with output breakers.
This 2RU system provides a remotely managed 2,800 or 6,000 watts of hot-
swappable DC power with built-in battery breakers, Low Voltage Disconnect
(LVD), advanced battery management, a DC-DC Converter Module
providing up to 700 watts of 12- or 24-volt DC output, and eight channels of
intelligent, remotely controlled DC power distribution.
