must be in the INIT position for M-7024U and 
M-7028, or the INIT * terminal should be 
connected to the GND terminal for M-7022,  
M-7024 and M-7024R, see Section A.1 for 
details.  The new protocol is saved in the 
EEPROM and will be effective after the next 
power on reset.
