1.
With the node turned off, unscrew the retaining screw

, shown in Figure 23, half a turn, but do not
fully loosen or remove it.
2.
Slide the bracket to the right just enough to disengage the screw.
3.
Squeeze the top and bottom of the bracket together slightly and turn the bracket at a slight angle to
remove both lips of the bracket from the node frame.
4.
Slide the bracket back onto the power cable and then slide it off the cable.
5.
Remove the power cable.
Removing the SAN Volume Controller 2145-8G4 cable retention bracket
The SAN Volume Controller 2145-8G4 uses one of two different cable-retention brackets. Depending on
which bracket you have, use the appropriate instructions to remove and replace the cable-retention
bracket.
