Remove the heat sink:
a.
Loosen the heat-sink actuation screw by turning the supplied nut driver counterclockwise (A), as
shown in Figure 32 on page 71. Loosen the screw until it moves freely.
b.
Grip the heat sink (B) by the grooves on opposing sides and remove the heat sink by lifting it
upward, as shown in Figure 33 on page 71. Set the heat sink aside on an electrostatic discharge
(ESD) surface with the microprocessor side facing upward.
Note:
If you plan to remove dust or debris from the heat sink, this operation must be performed
in another room that is greater than 7.62 m (25 ft) away from the work area.
