Remove the service processor assembly or time-of-day battery
To remove the service processor assembly or time-of-day battery, do the following
steps:
1. To manually remove the service processor assembly, first perform prerequisite
tasks as described in Before you begin and then return to this procedure and
continue with the next step.
2. Stop the system or logical partition.
3.
Disconnect the power source from the system by unplugging the system.
Note: This server is equipped with a second power supply. Before continuing
with this procedure, ensure that all power sources to the server have
been completely disconnected.
