When
CB3
is
on
(pushed
in)
AC
power
is
being
distributed
to
J6
through
J10.
When
CB3
is
off
(pulled
out),
AC
power
is
not
being
distributed
to
J6
through
J10.
Make
sure
CB2
and
CB3
are
pushed
in,
and
make
sure
that
the
device
power
cords
are
plugged
at
the
PCA
power
outlets.
Then
proceed
to
Checking
on/off
switch
and
jumpers
The
on/off
switch
located
at
the
front
of
the
rack
controls
the
PCAs.
Ensure
that
the
on/off
switch
is
in
the
on
position,
and
that
the
on/off
switch
cable
is
plugged
to
each
PCA
at
connector
J14
located
at
the
rear
of
the
PCA.
Ensure
that
the
jumper
at
connector
J17
(front
of
PCA)
is
plugged.
Note:
Depending
how
the
rack
is
configured,
access
to
the
rear
of
the
PCA
is
available:
v
From
the
rear
interior
of
the
rack
v
From
the
outside
of
the
rack
by
removing
a
side
panel
v
By
removing
the
PCA
from
the
rack
If
the
power
problem
continues,
replace
the
failing
PCA.
Order
a
new
PCA
and
see
Replacing
a
PCA
To
replace
a
PCA:
1.
Turn
off
the
client’s
power
source
to
the
failing
PCA.
2.
Unplug
the
rack
power
cord
from
the
PCA.
3.
Unplug
the
device
power
cords
from
the
PCA.
4.
Unplug
the
jumper
from
connector
J17
on
the
front
of
the
PCA.
5.
Remove
the
PCA
from
the
rack
by
removing
two
screws
from
each
end
of
the
PCA
and
slide
out
the
PCA
from
the
rack.
6.
Disconnect
the
on/of
switch
cable
from
PCA
connector
J14
at
the
rear
of
the
PCA.
7.
Connect
the
on/off
switch
cable
to
connector
J14
on
the
new
PCA.
8.
Slide
the
new
PCA
into
the
rack
position
from
which
the
failing
PCA
was
removed.
9.
Secure
the
PCA
to
the
rack
with
the
screws
that
were
previously
removed
when
the
failing
PCA
was
removed.
10.
Replug
all
device
power
cords.
The
power
cord
ends
are
labeled
with
the
PCA
position
it
is
to
be
plugged
to.
11.
Replug
the
jumper
to
connector
J17
on
the
front
of
the
PCA.
12.
Replug
the
rack
power
cord
to
the
PCA.
13.
Turn
on
the
client’s
power
source
to
the
PCA.
