1. Remove power from the IBM 2212 by unplugging the power cord.

2. Remove the IBM 2212 cover, using the instructions in “Removing the Cover” on

page 2-4.

3. The IBM 2212 supports only one hard drive or compact flash. The IBM 2212

will not operate if both the hard drive and compact flash are present. To
change your drive feature from compact flash to hard drive you must first
remove the compact flash. Refer to “Handling Static-Sensitive Devices” on
page 2-2 before removing the compact flash feature.
