Note: Either the Power Supply or the power distribution cable cluster is defective.
1. Unplug both power supply power cords from both PDB outlet power cords.
2. Replace the power supply. Refer to the “Power Supply or Cooling Unit” removal
procedure on page 4-61.
3. Plug both power supply power cords to both PDB outlet power cords.
Has the symptom changed?
NO
Reinstall the original Power Supply.
Repeat Step 6, exchanging the power distribution cable cluster. Refer to
“Power Distribution Cable Cluster” on page 4-79.
If you exchanged both Power Supply and power distribution cable cluster,
call your service support person for assistance.
YES
Go to “Map 0410: Repair Checkout” in the
Diagnostic Information For Micro
Channel Bus Systems.
Step 7
(from Steps 3 and 4)
Note: Either the operator panel or the power distribution cable cluster unit is defective.
1. Set the power button on the CPU Enclosure to Off.
2. Unplug both power supply power cords from both PDB outlet power cords.
3. Exchange the operator panel. Refer to “Operator Panel” on page 4-20.
4. Set the key mode switch to the Service position.
5. Plug both power supply power cords to both PDB outlet power cords.
Has the symptom changed?
NO
Reinstall the original operator panel.
Repeat Step 7, exchanging the power distribution cable cluster. Refer to
“Power Distribution Cable Cluster” on page 4-79.
If you exchanged both operator panel and power distribution cable cluster,
call your service support person for assistance.
YES
Go to “Map 0410: Repair Checkout” in the
Diagnostic Information For Micro
Channel Bus Systems.
